Take a look at Second Life®, an online society within a 3D world where users can explore, build, socialize, and participate in their own economy. But be warned!  It has a way of sucking people in. Some may think that's good, others will construe it as bad. Hmmm... you decide.. 

I recently came across some of these vintage pics of my first days in SecondLife. I've come a long way since then, so these images make me chuckle.

BettyBoop Roop and I were the owners of Mystic Hill Swing, a virtual Swing & Dance club in Blacktail Ridge that ran continuously for 4 years. The club officially closed on January 14, 2011. The building remained (below) for a while -- until November 2 -- when **sigh** the land owners figured it no longer fit their needs. Oh well... nothing lasts forever!
